CANCIONES PARA EL VERANO: 16. MARILLION - SPLINTERING HEART

There's a hot hard hurt
Burnin' under her skin
And it pricks her like thorns
And it's needles and pins
And it twists in her body
And I know what it is

And I'm paying in pain
But it's the cost of the high
'Till the weight of the secret
And the weight of the lie
Makes my heart want to burst
Feel the ache as time goes by
Getting better and worse
Getting better and worse
And there's a screw that I tighten
As I dream of the kiss
And it twists and it cuts me
And you know what it is?
It's a fragment of love
From a splintering heart
And it tears her apart, yeah
But not as much as this

So you save up your tears
For the moments alone
'Till the splinters you gather
Leave you glass-hard and numb
And the same sun is shining
On the old and the young
On the saints and the sinners
On the weak and the strong

And there's a burning and freezing
And a cross for a kiss
So she learns to stop dreaming
And you know how it is
With these fragments of love
And this splintering heart
With the fragments
And this splintering heart

CANCIONES PARA EL VERANO: 15. B.B. KING & TRACY CHAPMAN - THRILL IS GONE

The thrill is gone,
The thrill is gone away
The thrill is gone, baby
The thrill is gone away
You know you've done me wrong, baby
And you'll be sorry someday
The thrill is gone
It's gone away from me
The thrill is gone, baby
The thrill has gone away from me
Although I'm still livin'
But it's a long way out here
The thrill is gone
Its gone away for good
Oh, the thrill is gone, baby
Its gone away for good
Some day I know I'll be open armed, baby
Just like I know a man should
You know I'm free free now baby,
I'm free from your spell
Well I'm free free free now
I'm free from your spell
And now that it's all over,
All I can do is wish you well

CANCIONES PARA EL VERANO: 14. CRY OF LOVE - PRETTY AS YOU PLEASE

I said "Get it in gear, let me make just one thing clear."
No-one told me, someone sold me.
I said "Colour my mind, 'cause the questions hard to find."
Won't you tell me, don't you sell me.

You got to hold your bullets, baby.
You know I got a right to plead.
You're about a rollin' mover honey,
Living pretty as you please.

Won't you take off that disguise, I can't see it in your eyes.
Where's the shelter, where's the shelter.
Oh! I ain't no disgrace but you can see it in my face,
It's gettin' better, gettin' better now.

You got to hold your bullets, baby.
You know I got a right to plead.
You're about a rollin' mover honey,
Living pretty as you please.

You got to hold your bullets, baby.
You know I got a right to plead.
You're about a rollin' mover honey,
Living pretty as you please.

Yeah-yeah-Hey-Yeah !
I said "Get it in gear." "Get it in gear."
"Get it in gear." "Get it in gear."
You're a rollin' mover honey.
You know I got a right to plead.
Living pretty as you please.
Living pretty as you please, now.
Living pretty as you please.
Living pretty as you please, now.

CANCIONES PARA EL VERANO: 13. CORINNE BAILEY RAE - ENCHANTMENT

I wait for you.
I don't know why.
All I know is I can't hide.
At this temperature you could take over my mind.
Like gossamer
You softly touch.
He draws me in, I'm powerless.
He possesses an enchantment.
Tell me I'm forgiven
He calls
Don't know how I fell under his spell
Lately I've been driven.
He smiles
An enchantment.
I wait for you
I'm mesmerized
This love is like a potion in disguise
I'd tightrope walk with a blindfold on my eyes
I can't escape
Or so it seems
I'd run away
He's in my dreams.
He possesses
An enchantment.
Tell me I'm forgiven
He calls
Don't know how I fell under his spell
Lately I've been driven
He smiles
An enchantment
It's the kind of sleepwalk that never ends.
A type of loan with no dividends.
It's a parlour game where you're given chase.
Guess it could be called an acquired taste.
I know. He knows. He calls. I go.
I know this could be an enchantment.
Why don't you tell me I'm forgiven?
He calls
Don't you know how I fell under his spell.
I'm forgiven
Lately i've been driven.
He smiles and I give in,
An enchantment.

CANCIONES PARA EL VERANO: 12. LIZZ WRIGHT - I'M CONFESSIN'

I'm confessing that I love you
Tell me do you love me too?
I'm confessing that I need you
Honest I do
I need you every moment
In your eyes I read such strange things
But your lips deny they're true
Will your answer really change things
Making me blue
I'm afraid someday you'll leave me
Saying can we still be friends
If you go, you know you'll grieve me
All in life, on you depends
Am I guessing that you love me
Dreamin' dreams of you in vain
I'm confessing that I love you
Over and over again
I'm confessing that I love you
Tell me do you love me too?
I'm confessing that I need you
Honest I do
Oh oh oh
Honest I do
Oh oh oh
I really do

CANCIONES PARA EL VERANO: 11. GARY MOORE - THE SUPERNATURAL

ALANIS MORISSETTE - YOU OUGHTA KNOW

AIR - ALL I NEED

All I need is a little time, to get behind this sun and cast my weight,

All I need is a peace of this mind, then I can celebrate.

All in all there's something to give, all in all there's something to do,

All in all there's something to live, with you ...

All I need is a little sign, to get behind this sun and cast this weight of mine,

All I need is the place to find, and there I'll celebrate.

All in all there's something to give, all in all there's something to do,

All in all there's something to live, with you ...

__________________________________________________________________

" Never been here - how about you ? ", you smile at my answer,

You've given me the chance, to be held and understood.

You leave me laughing without crying, there's no use denying,

For many times I've tried, love has never felt as good.

Be it downtown or way up in the air, when your heart's pounding,

You know that I'm aware.

You make it easy to watch the world with love,

You make it easy to let the past be done,

You make it easy.

How'd you do it? How'd you find me? How did I find you?

How can this be true? To be held and understood.

Keep it coming - no one's running the lesson I'm learning

'Cause blessings are deserved by the trust that always could

Be it downtown or way up in the air, when your heart's pounding,

You know that I'm aware.

You make it easy to watch the world with love,

You make it easy to let the past be done,

You make it easy.

You make it easy to watch the world with love,

You make it easy to let the past be done,

You make it easy.

algo nuevo.

Nos reunimos allí

y todo comenzó a surgir

como un sueño.

Creo recordar que por la noche

el pájaro blanco echó a volar

en nuestros corazones

en busca de una estrella fugaz.

Vimos juntos el amanecer

y el lago reflejó

nuestros sueños.

En silencio fuimos a caer

junto al gran monte aquel

que nos dio el amor.

No puedo negar que me hizo daño

que mi corazón huye de ti.

Has de ser como la mañana

del día que te conocí.

Creo recordar que por la noche

el pájaro blanco echó a volar

en nuestros corazones

en busca de una estrella fugaz.

Vimos juntos el amanecer

y el lago reflejó nuestros sueños.

En silencio fuimos a caer

junto al gran monte aquel

que nos dio el amor.

No puedo negar que me hizo daño

que mi corazón huye de ti.

Has de ser como la mañana

del día que te conocí...

CANCIONES PARA EL VERANO: 7. AMY WINEHOUSE - VALERIE

THE GREENHORNES - THERE IS AN END

Words disappear,
Words weren't so clear,
Only echos passing through the night.
The lines on my face,
Your fingers once traced,
Fading reflection of what was.
Thoughts re-arrange,
Familar now strange,
All my skin is drifting on the wind.
Spring brings the rain,
With winter comes pain,
Every season has an end.
I try to see through the disguise,
But the clouds were there,
Blocking out the sun (the sun).
Thoughts re-arrange,
Familar now strange,
All my skin is drifting on the wind.
Spring brings the rain,
With winter comes pain,
Every season has an end.
There's an end,
There's an end,
There's an end,
There's an end,
There's an end...

SHARLEEN SPITERI - IT WAS YOU

BEBEL GILBERTO - AUGUST DAY SONG
